Our Coffees

FULL OF FLAVOR

Yirgacheffe coffee is grown in the Yirgacheffe region of southern Ethiopia, which is one of the most famous coffee-growing regions in the world. It is known for its distinct floral and fruity flavor profile, which is often described as having notes of jasmine, bergamot, and blueberry. Yirgacheffe coffee is typically grown at high altitudes and is processed using the wet processing method, which involves removing the fruit from the coffee bean before it is dried.

BALANCED FLAVOR

Sidama coffee, on the other hand, is grown in the Sidama region of southern Ethiopia, which is also a well-known coffee-growing region. Sidama coffee is known for its balanced and complex flavor profile, which often includes notes of chocolate, citrus, and stone fruit. Sidama coffee is grown at lower altitudes than Yirgacheffe coffee and is typically processed using the dry processing method, which involves leaving the fruit on the coffee bean as it dries.

Notes of peach, cocoa, lemon candy and black tea

Guji Coffee

The area is rich in history – and rich in coffee. Producers bring their ripe harvests to central washing stations, where the cherries are pulped and washed with mountain spring water the same day. The pulped coffee goes into a fermentation tank for 72 hours, then is washed, spread, and sun-dried for up to 2 weeks on raised beds. The people of the Guji region take pride in the high quality of this sweet, clean coffee.
